Decima Campe (née Cardozo) was born in Dorset in 1988. She trained at Charles H Cecil studios learning to draw and paint from life. It was in Florence that she met Calyxte, her husband, a portrait and animal sculptor. Together they have four children and live in the hills South of Florence in the Tuscan countryside where they have renovated a farmhouse and work from home.

Decima has always had a great passion for painting children and having had practice painting her own boys she has developed her individual style and loves to capture the spirit and expression of children with oil on canvas. 

Decima has also created her own line of ceramics under the name of decimaceramica, which she sells in an interior design shop in Saanen, Switzerland, as well as at pop up exhibitions in the UK and Germany. Pieces can also be ordered online by browsing on this website and contacting Decima directly.
